Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, one of the leading online travel agencies in India, Rikant Pittie recently purchased an office space in Gurgaon for a whopping amount of Rs 99 crore.
Spanning over 65,000 sq ft area, this office building is located in Sector 32 and a major portion of the property is occupied by Egis India, a French multinational company operating in the construction engineering and mobility sector. According to the reports, Rikant has paid Rs 6.95 crore stamp duty for the transaction.
EaseMyTrip is one of largest travel platforms in the country in terms of air ticket bookings, based on the Crisil Report Assessment of the OTA Industry in India. The company provides more than 400 international and domestic airlines, over 2 million hotels as well as bus/train ticket bookings.
Currently, EaseMyTrip has offices around all the top cities of India including Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore.
